CHISHOLM TRAIL QUILT GUILD
Austin, Round Rock, Georgetown areas, Texas

Communication is one of the most important things in any organization. Announcements at our general meetings, newsletters, e-mails, and this web site are what we use to make sure our members know what’s going on.

Our membership year runs from April 1 to March 31. All new and long-time members, need to complete a Membership Form and pay an annual due of $25.

Trail Tales is our monthly newsletter. To save on paper, copying and postage fees we ask that you select the e-mail option on your application form if possible (if not you can select the US Mail option). Our Tales editor, will send an e-mail to you every month in a PDF file format. You will need Adobe Reader to open and read the file. Most computers have Adobe Reader installed on them. If yours does not, Adobe Reader is available free.

Yahoo Groups allows a group of people with e-mails to privately share information on the web. All of our members are automatically added to our Yahoo Group’s e-mail list. Follow the directions in the invitation letter if you wish to opt out. Yahoo Groups is different from Yahoo, though your user ID may be the same. . Our group is CTQGTX, but you can’t search for it; when we created the group, we made it private because we only wanted our members joining. The e-mail list is used to communicate guild business and occasionally a paid ad
