WE MEET the first Tuesday of the month at 10 am at the Georgetown Library, 402 W. 8th Street. Park in the event parking lot at the corner of 8th and MLK. See Meetings on this site for our guild's general meeting information. Visitors are welcome at our general meetings for two visits, and then are asked to join the guild. Membership is $25 per year. CTQG NEWS (updated Oct. 8, 2008) "THOUGHTFUL INTENTIONS" challenge entries are due at the Nov. 4 meeting. Click here for rules and entry form. OUR GUILD'S LIBRARY listing is now online at librarything.com. Members can browse to see what we have available and then ask Librarian Ronda Leal to bring items to our next meeting. The idea is to expand our library without having to lug hundreds of books, DVDs, etc., to each meeting. You can also vote for a book or video on CTQG's wish list. By the way Ronda has just ordered a subscription to Quilting Arts Magazine for the library. LOOSE THREADS: Items from the show, membership pins and patches, and other goodies will be sold in our new guild store. Coordinator is Cat Marion.
